Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reports that the Bills have West Virginia WR Tavon Austin listed as the No. 1 overall player on their draft board.
This is interesting considering that the Jets are also believed to have interest in Austin as well, but are currently sitting one pick behind Buffalo. Clearly, the Bills are in need of a receiver given that Stevie Johnson is their only proven option at this point, but there has been a lot of talk that they could target a quarterback in the first-round.
Then again, this could be more smoke designed to facilitate a trade out of the No. 8 spot. I’m sure we’ll hear more in the coming hours regarding this topic.
