Ian Rapoport reports that the Buffalo Bills and C Eric Wood have reached an agreement on a contract extension.

  • Wood announced via his twitter account that he had some news that would be posted shortly.

Wood, 27, was entering the final year of his contract and was set to make $2.3 million for the upcoming season.

He graded out as the No. 25 best center in the league last season by Pro Football Focus, so there’s at least some concern regarding his ability. Wood was serviceable in pass-protection, but really struggled to open holes in the run game. PFF had him rated as one of the worst run-blocking centers in the league.

We’ll have more regarding his contract details as the news is available.
