Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reports that Broncos and HC John Fox are expected to engage in talks regarding a long-term extension.

  • Rapoport mentions that both parties believe an extension will get done with a team source adding; “He’s perfect for us.”

As mentioned earlier in the day, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Fox stands to make a $1 million bonus should the Broncos win a Super Bowl today.

Fox unfortunately underwent heart valve replacement surgery earlier this season, but was able to return after four games. Jack Del Rio stepped in and helped the Broncos win three of the four games.

Since taking over as the Broncos HC, Fox has amassed a record of 34 and 14 (70.8 percent).
