Report: Broncos Considering Trading Up In Round One

Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reports that Broncos are another team that is discussion the idea of possibly trading up in round one.

We’ve already heard that the 49ers have been actively trying to move up and possibly target a wide receiver. However, it would be interesting to hear who the Broncos would like to move up for.

Many have assumed that they could target a defensive lineman or a linebacker in round one. Guys like Alabama’s C.J. Mosley and Ohio State’s Ryan Shazier could make a lot of sense for them, but may not last until Denver’s pick at No. 31 overall.

There are also some solid cornerback options that could be available in the mid-to-late portion of the first round that might be attractive for Broncos.

We have the Broncos taking Kony Ealy at No. 31 overall in our most recent 2014 NFL Mock Draft.

  1. Calling my shot now. The Broncos will trade out of this spot due to Johnny Manziel free falling in the draft. Possible trade partners could be Oakland, Cleveland, and Houston.
