Report: Broncos Tender Offers To CB Chris Harris, CB Tony Carter & S Duke Ihenacho.

Tom Pelissero reports that the Denver Broncos have tendered restricted free agent CB Chris Harris at the second-round level.

  • Pelissero adds that the Broncos also tendered offers to CB Tony Carter and S Duke Ihenacho.
  • Broncos also tendered restricted free agent DT Mitch Unrein and exclusive rights free agent LB Brandon Marshall, per Tom Pelissero.

Harris will receive a one-year tender worth $2.187 million for the 2014 season.

Harris, 24, got some good news when it was revealed that he had only suffered a partial tear of his ACL during his recent operation. He totaled 65 tackles, three interceptions and 13 passes defended for the Broncos over the course of 16 games.

Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 9 cornerback in the league, so he could be in line for a sizable contract depending on how he recovers and performs next season.

As for Carter and Ihenacho, they will receive $730,000 and $570,000 salaries in 2014 respectively.

Ihenacho, 24, appeared in 15 games for the Broncos last season and totaled 74 tackles, three forced fumbles and two recoveries during this time.

Carter, 27, appeared in 12 games for the Broncos last season and totaled just 13 tackles on the season.
