Report: Browns Agree To Terms With CB Isaiah Trufant

 

Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports that the Cleveland Browns have reached an agreement with former Jets CB Isaiah Trufant.

Trufant, 31, become an unrestricted free agent after the Jets elected to not tender him a restricted offer. He now joins his former DC Mike Pettine in Cleveland.

Last year, he wound up playing just 72 defensive snaps and totaling 20 tackles over the course 16 games. Trufant was also special teams contributor.
