Report: Browns QB Brian Hoyer Has Torn ACL, Done For The Season

Update:

Browns HC Rob Chudzinski told reporters on Friday that QB Brian Hoyer does in fact have a torn ACL and will miss the remainder of the season, per Mary Kay Cabot.

  • Chudzinski mentioned that Hoyer’s knee has no other damage except for the torn ACL.

He was huge for us,” said said Chudzinski. “Obviously he’s disappointed. If you know him, how positive he is, he’s already thinking about when he’s going to be back.

Looks like Brandon Weeden will get another shot at proving he can be their long-term solution at quarterback.
