Report: Browns Reach Agreement With ILB Karlos Dansby

Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic is “hearing” that the Browns have reached an agreement with ILB Karlos Dansby on four-year deal.

  • Somers adds that Dansby will receive a total of $24 million to go along wtih $14 million guaranteed.
  • Dansby will make $10 million in the first year.

Last year, after being cut by the Miami Dolphins, Dansby found few suitors, and eventually signed a one-year deal worth $2.25 million with Arizona. He would go on to have a very productive season under Todd Bowles in which he totaled 135 total tackles, 6.5 sacks, and four interceptions.

NFL teams have been hesitant to give out big money to aging players like Dansby who is currently 32 years old, but he has definitely earned a pay raise.

We have him listed as the No. 27 player in our Top 50 Free Agents list.
