Report: Browns Reach Agreement With WR Nate Burleson

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Cleveland Browns have reached an agreement with veteran WR Nate Burleson.

  • Schefter adds that Burlesonwill receive a one-year contract from the Browns.

Burleson recently visited with the Dolphins, but he wound up leaving that meeting without a contract. The Cowboys also came up as a potential option for Burleson.

Burleson, 32, was cut loose by the Lions back in February, but hasn’t found much interest up to this point.

Last year, Burleson totaled 39 receptions for 461 yards receiving and one touchdown over the course of nine games for the Lions. He wound up missing more than a month after he fractured his arm following a car accident.
