Mike Silver of the NFL Network reports that the Cleveland Browns are Browns releasing QB Brandon Weeden.
Weeden, 30, was taken with the No. 22 overall pick during the 2012 NFL Draft and hasn’t come anywhere near living up to his draft status.
Last year, Weeden appeared in eight games for the Browns and completed 52.8 percent of his passes for 1,731 yards, nine touchdowns and nine interceptions.
