Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Browns worked out free agent OLB Edgar Jones on Monday.
This news comes just a few days after Cleveland released LB Quentin Groves, so it appears as though they are looking a better fit at linebacker.
The Chiefs traded Jones and their 2014 seventh-round draft pick to the Cowboys in return for a 2014 sixth-round draft pick that would ultimately become Tennessee G Zach Fulton.
Jones, 29, appeared in seven games last season and totaled six tackles and a pass defensed.
