Report: Buccaneers Reinstate DE Da’Quan Bowers & FB Jorvorskie Lane

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have reinstated DE Da’Quan Bowers and FB Jorvorskie Lane from the reserve/suspended list on Monday, according to Howard Balzer.

Both Bowers and Lane were suspended two games for violating the NFL policy on performance enhancing substances.

Bowers, 24, has been a major disappointment ever since the Buccaneers used a second-round pick on him back in 2010. He has missed nine games in the past two years with injuries and has been largely ineffective when healthy.

Bowers has recorded just six tackles, one sack and a fumble recovery over the course of five games this season.

Lane, 27, signed a one-year contract worth $495,000 with the Buccaneers back in April. He has appeared in six games this season and has ran for 56 yards on two carries and caught a pass for three yards.
