According to JoeBucsFan.com, the Buccaneers worked out former Pro Bowl K Rob Bironas Wednesday.
- Tampa Bay reportedly worked out rookie free agent K Anthony Fera as well.
Bironas, 36, was cut loose by the Titans back in March. Since then, he hasn’t found any reported interest.
The Buccaneers currently have kickers Connor Barth and Patrick Murray on their roster, so it appears as though they aren’t sold on one or both of their current options.
Last year, Bironas converted 86.2 precent of his attempts making 5 of 7 from 40-49 yards and 2 of 3 from over 50 yards. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 25 kicker in 213.
