Report: Buccaneers WR Vincent Jackson Has Small Wrist Fracture

Ross Jones of Fox Sports reports that Buccaneers WR Vincent Jackson sustained a small wrist fracture during Week 3’s losss to the Atlanta Falcons.

The good news, however, is thatĀ Jackson is not expected to miss any timeĀ due to the injury andĀ plans onĀ playing against the Steelers next weekend.

HeĀ took a hit from Falcons SĀ Dwight Lowery and fell on his wrist, which appears to be when he sustained the injury.

Jackson and the Buccaneers’ offense haveĀ really struggled to get things going this season. So far, Jackson has caught justĀ 10 passes for 102 yards and a single touchdown that came against Atlanta when the game was well out of reach.

Jackson, 31, is in the third year of his five-year, $55,555,555 contractĀ that includedĀ $26 million guaranteed. He has a base salary of $10 million for the 2014 season.
