Report: Dolphins CB Nolan Carroll To Test Open Market

Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports that the Miami Dolphins will allow free agent CB Nolan Carroll to reach the open market in the coming weeks.

  • According to La Canfora, the Dolphins have already met with Carroll’s agent at some point to express their interest in re-signing him.
  • La Canfora adds that Carroll will “see who makes the best offer” during free agency.

Carroll, 27, had his best season in the NFL last year. He totaled 47 tackles, two sacks, three interceptions and 15 passes defended. Pro Football Focus rated Carroll as the No. 52 cornerback in the league last year.
