Ian Rapoport reports that the Chargers are signing former Colts RB Donald Brown.
- Pro Football Talk reports that Donald Brown receives a three-year contract worth $10.5 million and includes $4 million guaranteed.
- Mike Garafolo reports that Brown’s deal includes a $3.25 million signing bonus and $6.75 million in base salaries over three years.
- There is also a $500,000 roster bonus due in 2016.
Browns should be a decent compliment to Ryan Matthews next year.
Brown, 26, is coming off of a much better season than many anticipated from him heading into 2013. He played in all 16 games and ran for 537 yards on 102 carries (5.3 YPC) and contributed eight total touchdowns.
