Update: Chiefs Have Not Signed DL Vance Walker

 

Update:

ESPN’s Adam Caplan reports that DL Vance Walker has not signed with the Kansas City Chiefs as previously reported.

• Caplan adds that Walker has  “several” visits still lined up.

Walker, 26, signed a one-year contract with the Raiders last year. He appeared in 15 games for the Raiders and totaled 40 tackles and three sacks.

Pro Football Focus had him rated as the No. 36 defensive tackle in the league last year and a decent interior pass-rusher.

We had him listed as the No. 86 player in our Top 100 Free Agents list.

Pete Dougherty reports that sources have informed him DL Vance Walker is signing with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Reports came out on Thursday that the Packers were hoping to meet with Walker, but he had to leave Kansas City in order for this to be a possibility, and it appears as though the Chiefs got the deal finalized.
