Former Chiefs TE Tony Moeaki went unclaimed after Kansas City placed him on waivers Wednesday.
Moeaki, 26, suffered a fractured his scapula during the preseason and was subsequently placed on injured reserve.
Moeaki was taken in the third-round of the 2010 NFL draft. Since then, he’s dealt with a number of injuries including knee operations and head injuries. He is expected to be back in Week 11, so we’ll have to see if a market develops for for him the coming weeks.
- Wilson adds that Moeaki will receive an injury settlement.
We’ll have to see what kind of market develops for his services or if he’s claimed off of waivers on Thursday.
