Report: Colts Among Teams Interested In WR Eric Decker

According to Vic Lombardi of CBS Denver, the Indianapolis Colts are among the teams that have interest in Broncos free agent WR Eric Decker.

The Broncos have said publicly that they will allow their free agents including Decker to test the open market and it appears as though Decker is set on maximizing his situation in the coming months.

The Colts could use some more depth at receiver, especially now that Reggie Wayne is coming off of a serious knee injury. Indianapolis has plenty of cap space to work with, so they could be among the most aggressive bidders for Decker. The fact that Andrew Luck is in place as their quarterback can’t hurt their chances either,

Decker, 26, could end up being the most sought after receiver on the open market. He has put together back-to-back solid seasons since Peyton Manning signed with the Broncos. Last year, he totaled 87 receptions for 1,288 yard receiving and 11 touchdowns.

We have him listed as the No. 16 player in our Top 50 Free Agents list.
