Cowboys Sign DE Jeremy Mincey To A Two-Year Deal

Update:

Cowboys have signed veteran DE Jeremy Mincey to a two year contract, according to numerous reports.

  • Alex Marvez reports that Mincey receives a two-year deal worth $4.5 million and includes $2 million guaranteed
  • Tom Pelissero reports that the Cowboys actually agreed to terms with Jeremy Mincey on Tuesday.

Nick Eatman reports that the Dallas Cowboys are close to signing veteran DE Jeremy Mincey.

  • Eatman adds that the Cowboys are also close to signing DT Terrell McClain.
  • Both deal are pending physicals.

Mincey, 30, signed on with the Denver  Broncos mid-season after the Jacksonville Jaguars elected to cut him loose. He had spent the previous five years with the Jaguars.

Mincey appeared in a total of 10 games last year and contributed 16 tackles and two sacks.

The Cowboys are obviously looking for value options to add to their defensive line now that it appears as though they are going to be without Jason Hatcher and Anthony Spencer to go along with DeMarcus Ware who just signed with the Broncos.
