Report: Cowboys Negotiating Multi-Year Extension With WR Cole Beasley

Rand Getlin of Yahoo Sports, citing multiple league sources, reports that the Dallas Cowboys are in the process of negotiating a multi-year agreement with the representatives for WR Cole Beasley.

Beasley, 25, put together a decent season for the Cowboys last year and is in line to to be a restricted free agent in the coming weeks.

There was talk that the Cowboys could place a second-round tender on him, which would run them around $2.4 million for the 2015 season.

In 2014, Beasley appeared in all 16 games and caught 37 passes for 420 yards receiving and four touchdowns. Pro Football Focus has Beasley rated as the No. 48 receiver out of 100 qualifying players last season.

We’ll have more regarding the negotiations between the two parties as the news is available.
