Todd Archer of ESPN Dallas reports that the Cowboys P Chris Jones has signed his exclusive rights tender worth $645,000 for the 2014 season.
The Cowboys still have a limited amount of cap space to work with, but it won’t be hard to fit his cap figure of $150,000 in their books.
Jones, 24, posted a net average 39.1-yards with 38 percent of his punts being downed inside the opponents’ 20-yard-line.
Pro Football Focus had Jones rated as the No. 9 punter in league last season.
