Karen Guregian of the Boston Herald reports that Patriots WR Danny Amendola is unlikely to play against the Falcons this weekend.
Guregian does, however, believe Amendola has a shot at suiting for Week 5’s game against the Bengals.
Amendola is dealing with a groin injury that he suffered in Week 1’s win over the Bills. He has been able to practice on a limited basis in recent days, and the fact that he was able to avoid undergoing surgery should allow him to return at some point in the next few weeks.
New England could get TE Rob Gronkowski back this weekend, which would obviously be a huge plus for their passing offense.
