Omar Kelly of the Sun-Sentinel reports that the Dolphins plan to re-sign WR LaRon Byrd at some point this week.

Byrd, 24, signed on with the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of Miami back in 2012. He lasted just a few months before the team ultimately waived him.

Since then, Byrd has played for the Cowboys and Browns before signing on to the Dolphins’ practice squad in October of last year.

He, unfortunately, suffered a season-ending shoulder injury in early December that led to him being placed on the injured reserve list with a practice squad designation.

Byrd appeared in one game last season.
