Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports that the Dolphins brought in Ohio State LB Ryan Shazier for a workout on Monday.
According to Saguero, Shazier has already worked out or met with the Falcons, Packers, Bills, Broncos and Panthers.
Many expect the Dolphins to target an offensive lineman in round one, but there is no guarantee that there will be an offensive line prospect worth taking at that point in the draft.
Miami could be a candidate to trade back, but in the event they don’t, Shazier could be an intriguing player for the Dolphins. He possesses incredible speed and offers some position versatility.
We have the Bengals taking Shazier at No. 24 in the first round of our most recent 2014 NFL Mock Draft.
