Report: Eagles Trade RB Bryce Brown To The Bills

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Eagles have traded RB Bryce Brown to the Bills.

  • According to Schefter, the Bills will send a conditional fourth-round pick in 2015 that can become a third-round pick in 2016.
  • Ian Rapoport reports that the Bills intend to keep veteran RB Fred Jackson, despite the addition of Brown.

There were reports for a few months now that Brown could be expendable following the addition of veteran RB Darren Sproles.

The Bills have C.J. Spiller and Jackson both entering the final year of their respective contracts, so this should at least provide some insurance at the position.

Brown, 22, appeared in all 16 games for the Eagles last season and totaled 314 yards rushing on 75 carries (4.2 YPC) and two touchdowns.
