According to Adam Caplan of ESPN, the Falcons have re-signed free agent DL Peria Jerry.
A former first-round pick, Jerry has been labeled a bust for Atlanta, despite still being just 29 years old.
Jerry has been more effective as an interior pass rusher than versus the run. Â Last season, Jerry registered 33 tackles and 3.5 sacks while starting 14 games.
Pro Football Focus ranked Jerry No. 64 out of 69 defensive tackles and nose tackles.
