The New York Giants officially signed QB Josh Freeman on Monday, according to the NFL transactions release.
- Garafolo adds that the Giants believe Freeman got a “raw deal” from Minnesota last year.
- ESPN’s Adam Caplan reported that the Giants are expected to complete an agreement with Freeman over “the next day or so.”
Freeman, 26, previously visited with the Bears before meeting with the Giants on Tuesday.
Last year, Freeman appeared in just four games and 42.9 percent of his passes for 761 yards, two touchdowns and four interceptions.
