Report: Israel Idonije Visits Tennessee Titans

Pro Football Talk reports thatĀ free agent defensive end Israel Idonije visited the Tennessee Titans Monday.

The Titans currently have Derrick Morgan and Kamerion Wimbley listed as the starting defensive ends. It is unclear whether Idonije would replace either or simply provide depth chart help.

There is a possibility Idonije is visiting other teams to increase his value to the Bears, who reportedly have an “standing offer” on the table , per Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune.

Idonije has spent the last nine seasons of his ten year NFL career as a member of the Chicago Bears. His only other professional year was as a member of the Cleveland Browns in 2003.Ā The 32-year-old five technique has recorded 28.5 sacks and 198 tackles in his pro career.

This marks the first free agent visit of the offseason of Idonije.Ā We have Idonije listed as the No. 7 player in our Best Available Free Agents list.
