Report: Jaguars Releasing RB Justin Forsett

 

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Jaguars have released RB Justin Forsett.

Recent reports indicated that Forsett could be on the chopping block, so this doesn’t come as a huge surprise.

Forsett, 28, has one year remaining on his contract at a base salary of $1.1 million. Last year, he appeared in nine games for the Jaguars but received just six carries and ran for 31 yards (5.2 YPC)
