Update:

According to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, Dolphins free agent DT Jared Odrick is drawing interest from the Raiders, Jaguars, and Broncos.

Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports reports that the Jacksonville Jaguars are turning their attention to free agent DT Jared Odrick now that Ndamukong Suh has an agreement in place with the Dolphins.

  • According to Robinson, the Jaguars have a “good shot” to sign Odrick.

While Suh is clearly the better player, the Jaguars could get a quality player at a much more reasonable price in Odrick.

Miami said they were interested in retaining Odrick, but there’s no way he’ll be back now that they’re spending around $114 million on Suh.

Odrick, 27, played out his five-year, $13,071,939 contract with the Dolphins that included $7.134 million guaranteed and is now in position to be on of the best available interior defensive linemen in this year’s market.

In 2014, Odrick recorded 29 tackles, one sack, a forced fumble, a recovery and five pass defenses over the course of 16 games.

Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 19 defensive tackle out of 81 qualifying players. On top of that, Odrick graded out as a very solid interior pass-rusher, which could help his chances of securing a very respectable contract this offseason.

We have Odrick listed as the No. 17 player in our Top 100 Free Agents list.
