Report: Jaguars Could Be Without Blaine Gabbert For An “Extended Period Of Time”

Ian Rapoport reports that the Jacksonville Jaguars could be without QB Blaine Gabbert for an “extended period of time.

  • According to Rapoport’s source, Gabbert reportedly heard his hamstring pop.
  • There is currently “no definitive time table” for his return.

HC Gus Bradley told reporters after Sunday’s Week 5 loss that Gabbert will remain the team’s starting quarterback when healthy, despite another underwhelming performance. Before leaving with an injury, Gabbert was 9-19 in passing attempts for 181 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.

Chad Henne stepped in for the in for the injured Gabbert and completed 7-of-13 passes for 89 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions.
