Report: Jason Babin Voids Final Years Of His Contract, Now A Free Agent

 

John Clayton of ESPN reports that the Jaguars DE Jason Babin has voided the final two years of his contract and is now a free agent.

Babin, 33, had two years remaining on his contract and would have made $6 million per season over the remainder of this deal. He also had a cap figure of $6.175 million for the 2014 season.

This past season, Babin produced 40 tackles, 7.5 sacks and three forced fumbles for the Jaguars defense.
