Report: Jets Expected To Fire OC Tony Sparano

NFL Insider Adam Schefter reports that the Jets do not plan to bring back offensive coordinator Tony Sparano for next season. Sparano is expected to beĀ fired after the team’s final game of the season.

Sparano’s offense currently ranksĀ 30th in the league in total offense, so there aren’t any guarantees that he’ll be able to find another coordinator job in the near future.

Cam Cameron and Norv Turner are rumored to be potential replacements for the soon-to-be vacant coordinator position. There have been reports that owner Woody Johnson will consider restructuring his front office next season, so it will be interesting to see how far he goes in the coming days.
