Report: Jets Trying To Trade Up For A QB

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the New York Jets have already made “multiple calls” to teams about trading up from No. 39 overall to secure one of the remaining quarterback prospects.

  • Schefter adds that the Jets “debated” taking West Virginia GB Geno Smith at No. 13 overall.

There’s starting to be more and more buzz that quarterbacks could be coming off the board at the top of round two, which makes sense given then teams that are located in this range. The Jaguars, Eagles, Jets, Cardinals and Raiders could all be in the market for quarterback and with Geno, Matt Barkley, Ryan Nassib and Mike Glennon all available, there’s a good chance that a few of them could be gone.

We have a three quarterbacks being drafted in our recently updated Second-Round Mock Draft.
