Report: Jon Bon Jovi Expected To “Make A Push” To Purchase The Bills

According to Dan Pompei of the Bleacher Report, “NFL honchos” expect Jon Bon Jovi to “make a push to purchase the Bills.

Pompei mentions that Larry Tanenbaum, the chairman of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, could also be a part of the investment group.

The idea of Bon Jovi purchasing the team came up a while back, so this isn’t the first we’ve heard regarding Bon Jovi possibly getting involved in the bidding for the Bills.

In recent weeks, Donald Trump has said that he has been contacted about purchasing team while other reports have mentioned that the franchise could be sold sooner than some think.

According to Pompei, an ownership group that’s capably of getting a stadium built in Buffalo could “have the edge” inquiring the Bills.

Pompei admits that there is a chance the Bon Jovi group could look to relocate to franchise either Toronto, or possibly Los Angeles.

The Associated Press reports that Bills stadium task force may consider Niagara Falls as a possible home for the team.

“We’re looking at Niagara County,” Lt. Gov. Robert Duffy told the AP this week. “We’re open to looking at a number of venues.

Duffy reportedly made clear “that all options should be on the table.

I’m sure we’ll have more updates regarding the Bills in the coming weeks.
