Report: Josh Freeman Working Out For The Giants Tuesday

ESPN’s Adam Caplan, citing a team source, reports that free agent QB Josh Freeman will visit with the Giants on Tuesday.

Freeman, 26, has found very little interest as a free agent. He reportedly visited with the Bears, who happen to be in need of a backup quarterback now that Josh McCown has signed with the Buccaneers.

There hasn’t been much buzz regarding an offer from Chicago, so it appears as though they intend to see what happens in the draft before revisiting the idea.

The Giants currently have Ryan Nassib behind starter Eli Manning, so it is a little interesting to hear that they have interest in Freeman.

Last year, Freeman appeared in just four games and 42.9 percent of his passes for 761 yards, two touchdowns and four interceptions.
