Vikings Exercise HC Leslie Frazier’s Option Through 2014

Update:

Jon Krawczynski clarifies that the Vikings exercised an option on head coach Leslie Frazier’s deal for 2014, which adds an extra two years onto his current contract.

Jon Krawczynski reports that sources have informed him that the Minnesota Vikings have reached an agreement with head coach Leslie Frazier on a multi-year contract extension.

Frazier’s first season as the Vikings head coach was a little rocky as they finished with a 3-13 record, but the team improved dramatically in 2012 when they surpassed almost everyone’s expectations when they went 10-6 and wound up making the playoffs.

We’re still waiting to hear the specifics of Frazier’s deal, which should be available soon.
