Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports that the Detroit Lions are concerned about FS Louis Delmas and his recent knee injury, and are currently “calling around to land a veteran safety.”
Head coach Jim Schwartz mentioned that Delmas is currently “day-to-day,” but it seems as though they’re concerned that he may not be back for some time.
It’s hard to speculate as to what safeties could be available at this point, but we’ll have more updates as the information becomes available.
