Report: Michael Vick Dealing With A “Significant” Concussion

Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reports that a source has informed him that Michael Vick is dealing with a truly “significant” concussion.

It was assumed that the Eagles referred to Vick’s concussion as significant to allow them to make the change to rookie QB Nick Foles, but it appears as though Vick will be out for some time. There was already some suggestions that the Eagles were prepared to have Foles start each of their remaining seven games, but given the serious nature of Vick’s head injury, this actually seems like reasonable possibility.

There’s almost no chance Vick is back in Philadelphia next season. He has base salaries of $15.5 million, $12.5 million, and $14.5 million coming in the next three years, which makes it very likely that he will be looking for a new team during the offseason.
