Report: Mike Wallace To The Dolphins A “Done Deal”

Ben Volin of the Palm Beach Post reports that a person he trusts has mentioned that Mike Wallace to Dolphins is a “done deal.”

ESPN’s Adam Schefter tweets that “league-wide expectation is that WR Mike Wallace winds up in Miami with the Dolphins.

Schefter also mentioned on this morning’s SportCenter that Wallace figures to be the only player to secure more $10 million annually.

Mike Garafolo of USA Today reported on Sunday night that Miami spent the weekend “courting” Wallace and Brandon Gibson.

Wallace, 26, is believed to be seeking as much as $12 – $13 million annually in his next contract. Ian Rapoport tweets he’s hearing Wallace could end up with a five-year deal worth $60 million.

At this point, it really looks like the Dolphins are alone in the driver seat for Wallace.

We have him listed as the No. 1 best available player in our Top 50 Free Agents list.
