ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the NFL is considering a suspension for Buccaneers S Dashon Goldson following another helmet-to-helmet hit on Cardinals WR Jaron Brown.

Interestingly enough, the NFL previously suspended Goldson one game for a helmet-to-helmet hit on Saints RB Darren Sproles in Week 2, but the suspension was later overturned. He did, however, receive a $100,000 fine.

Goldson has received numerous fines for helmet-to-helmet hits in the past, so there is a good chance the league comes down on him hard for the latest incident, which wasn’t as egregious as some of the other hits.

We’ll have more on Goldson in the coming days.
