Rob Kunz of 10 TV in Columbus reports that Ohio State CB Bradley Roby was charged Sunday for operating a vehicle under the influence in Columbus, Ohio.

  • Kunz adds that Roby has a court date scheduled for Friday.
  • Roby was reportedly passed out behind the wheel of a car and the officers were unable to get his attention.
  • According to the report, Roby failed a field sobriety test

This is a bad look for a guy who is in the discussion to be a first-round pick. Roby is one of the 30 prospects who will be in attendance for this year’s NFL draft, so it will be interesting to see what kind of impact this has on his draft stock in the coming weeks.

It’s worth mentioning that Roby was suspended for Ohio State’s season opener last year for a disorderly conduct incident.

He’s met with or visited the Jets, ChargersSaintsSteelersTitans and Bills.

Last year, Roby was an All-Big Ten selection and totaled 69 tackles, 16 pass defenses, three interceptions, two blocked punts and two touchdowns.

We have Roby going to the 49ers at No. 30 overall in our most recent 2014 NFL Mock Draft.
