Report: Packers Expected To Re-Sign RB James Starks

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Packers are expected to re-sign RB James Starks to a two-year contract.

  • Schefter adds that a deal is considered imminent.

Tyler Dunne of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported a few hours ago that the Packers were still in the mix for Starks who visited the Steelers on Monday.

Starks, 28, is coming off of a pretty decent season for the Packers, despite the fact that he was limited to just 224 snaps last year. He finished the season with 493 yards rushing on 89 carries (5.5 YPC) and contributed four total touchdowns.

We have Starks listed as the No. 28 best available player in our Top 50 Free Agents list.
