Packers Officially Re-Sign QB Matt Flynn

Update:

It took just over a week, but the Packers have finally announced that they have re-signed QB Matt Flynn, per Rob Demovsky.

Ian Rapoport reports that the Packers have reached an agreement with QB Matt Flynn.

Recent reports mentioned that Flynn was expected to work out for the Giants, however, it appears as though the Packers prevent him from doing so and got a deal in place.

Flynn, 28, left Green Bay for Seattle back in 2012 when he signed a $20.5 million contract that included $9 million guaranteed with the Seahawks. He was later traded to the Raiders and finally ended up back in Green Bay last year.

Flynn stepped in for Aaron Rodgers, who suffered a broken collarbone and was able to keep them in the playoff hunt, despite some poor efforts.

Last year, Flynn completed 62 percent of his passes for 1,146 yards, seven touchdowns and four interceptions.
