Report: Panthers Sign S Roman Harper

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Panthers have reached agreement with former Saints S Roman Harper on a  two-year deal.

  • Schefter adds that Harper’s two-year deal is worth $4.5 million and includes a $1.5 million signing bonus.

Harper, 31, was a former second-round pick of the Saints before he was cut loose earlier this week. Harper totaled 39 tackles, one interception and a fumble recovery in nine games for the Saints this season.

However, Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 54 safety in the league this past season.

this is bizarre….. the dirtiest player from the saints is now a panther ??? doesn’t anyone remember the cheap shot he did against steve smith when smith ran a pass into the endzone ? harper leveled smith after AFTER he crossed the end zone. And now this a-hole is a panther ? who’s running the show in the panthers office ? a bunch of monkeys ?
