Patriots Offered G Brian Waters A “Significant” Raise, But He’s Apparently Not Interested

Shalise Manza Young of the Boston Globe mentions that the New England Patriots actually offered G Brian Waters a “significant” pay raise, but he ultimately turned it down.

The Patriots offensive line seems to a be a serious weakness at this point in time, so it makes sense to see them try to coaxed Waters in to rejoining them. New England still has him on the  reserve/did not report list for the time being.
