Report: Percy Harvin To Get A Second Opinion For Possible Labrum Tear

Ian Rapoport reports that the Seahawks WR Percy Harvin on his hip after it was revealed that he could be dealing with a slight labrum tear.

  • HC Pete Carroll mentioned that Harvin may need surgery, according to Chris Mortensen.
  • Seattle placed Harvin on the active/PUP list on Thursday.

Harvin, 25, signed a six-year $67 million contract, which includes $25.5 million guaranteed. This was after the team parted with their 2013 first-round pick along with a third and seventh-round draft pick in 2014.

Harvin was able to participate in the team’s OTAs and minicamp, so we’ll have to see where things stand after his second opinion.
