Robert Klemko of MMQB.com reports that a source has informed him that police have a yet-to-be-released video of Ravens RB Ray Rice knocking his fiancée unconscious.
- Klemko expects a suspension to be coming for Rice.
TMZ has already released a video of Rice dragging his unconscious fiancée out of an elevator on Wednesday. It was long after that a court summons from the incident was made available online in which it outlined the chargers against Rice.
The Ravens have said that they have no intention of releasing him this offseason, despite the fact that he’s involved in a serious off-the-field matter and is coming off of a horrible season.
Baltimore wouldn’t actually take a $5.5 million cap hit by releasing him because of pro-rated bonuses. However, designating him as a June-1 release would free up $4 million in cap space, according to OverTheCap.com.
We’ll have more regarding a possible suspension for Rice as the news is available.
