Peter King reports that it “sounds” like Sam Bradford‘s injury is as bad as the team feared.

  • King adds that the Rams will bring in free agent quarterbacks for workouts on Monday.
  • King lists Matt Leinart, Tyler Thigpen, and John Skelton as some speculative options for the Rams.

Jason La Canfora reports that the St. Louis Rams are “bracing” for QB Sam Bradford’s knee injury to be season-ending.

  • Peter King of TheMMQB.com reports that Bradford will undergo an MRI on the knee as soon as the team arrives in St. Louis.

————-

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the St. Louis Rams are “concerned” about the knee injury that QB Sam Bradford suffered during Sunday’s loss to the Carolina Panthers.

  • Schefter adds that Bradford is scheduled to undergo an MRI on his left knee tonight.

HC Jeff Fisher told reporters following the game that Bradford was in “significant pain” after he suffered the injury, which was evident from Bradford’s reaction.

Bradford needed to be carted off to the locker room, so all indications are that he will miss some amount of time. Kellen Clemens took over for Bradford and would almost certainly be their starter if Bradford is out against the Seahawks next Monday.

We’ll have more regarding Bradford’s knee injury as the news is available.
